Camp Location

    University of Florida (Gainesville, FL)

The second Florida SobekCM Code Camp is being hosted by the George A. Smathers Libraries at the University of Florida.  Located in central Florida, Gainesville is as close to the center of the state as possible.  

The camp itself will be hosted in the Scott Nygren Scholars Studio, Library West 212.  This is located on the main campus of the University, just south of University Avenue in the northeast corner of the campus.

 

 

    Transportation

Gainesville is easily accessible by car from I-75 from most of the state.  Driving times are approximately two hours from Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksvonille and a little over five hours from Miami.

Gainesville is also serviced by a regional airport which has regular flights to Miami, Atlanta, and Charlotte.  (Airport code GNV)

   

    Parking

Parking is fairly close and convenient and additional parking maps will be included as we get closer to the event date.
