Configuring the map views in SobekCM
 

The system currently uses Google Maps as the base layer for all map displays. As of June 22, 2016, Google Maps no longer allows keyless access to the API, so you must create a Google Map API key to use the mapping features within SobekCM.

Instructions here will walk you through the process of creating the key and adding it to your instance of SobekCM.

Create Google Map API key

Create the Google Map API key by following these instructions: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key#key

Add the key to System-Wide Settings

Now that you have the Google Map API key, you need to add it into your SobekCM System-Wide Settings.
