Definition

Unique standard number or code in the context of a formal identification system (OCLC, LCCN, ISBN, ISSN) that distinctively identifies a resource.

Form Element

This form element allows the user to enter the identifier and identifier type (ALEPH, OCLC, LCCN, ISBN, ISSN, etc).
