Custom System-Wide Settings

This page lists all of the custom-wide settings which are currently implemented in the core SobekCM system. To change these setting, a system admin can use the System-Wide settings option.

Supported Custom Settings

Setting Name Description
Portal Admins Can Edit Home Page ( true or false )
If this is set to FALSE, this overrides the standard system behavior which allows portal dmins to edit the main instance (the ALL aggregation) home page text.
Item Viewer.Include Date In Title ( never or newspaper )
If this is set to NEVER, this overrides the standard system behavior which puts the publication date in the title bar in paranthesis after the title. Set this to NEVER if your titles already have a variation of the date in them, for example.
Aggregation Viewer.Static First Menu Item ( [Name:URL], ex. '[Library Home;http://library.edu]' )
Menu item appears in the aggregation (and search results) menu before the first aggregation items. This occurs throughout the entire instance.
Aggregation Viewer.Static Second Menu Item ( [Name:URL], ex. '[Library Home;http://library.edu]' )
Menu item appears in the aggregation (and search results) menu before the first aggregation item and after the first static menu item (above). This also occurs throughout the entire instance.
Item Viewer.Static First Menu Item ( [Name:URL], ex. '[Library Home;http://library.edu]' )
Menu item appears in the aggregation (and search results) menu before the first aggregation items. This occurs throughout the entire instance.
Item Viewer.Static Second Menu Item ( [Name:URL], ex. '[Library Home;http://library.edu]' )
Menu item appears in the item menu before the first item-level menu item and after the first static menu item (above). This also occurs throughout the entire instance.
Item Viewer.Static Third Menu Item ( [Name:URL], ex. '[Library Home;http://library.edu]' )
Menu item appears in the item menu before the first item-level menu items and after the second static menu item (above). This occurs throughout the entire instance.
JPEG2000 ItemViewer.Allow JP2 Download ( true or false )
If this is set to TRUE, this overrides the standard JPEG2000 viewer behavior and makes the JPEG2000 downloadable directly from this viewer.
JPEG2000 ItemViewer.Suppress Navigator Suppresses the navigational thumbnail in the IIPimage JP2 viewer if the value is anything except 'false'.
