SobekCM 5.0 Patch Notes

Patch 1

Version 5.0 Patch 1 was released on August 23rd and includes some fixes and improvements on the work of Version 5.0. You should install the Patched version as soon as possible, and if you have been using the builder, you may want to invalidate your metadata cache, so it can be built again.

All installation notes have been updated to include this.

The patch primarily includes the following fixes for the SobekCM Builder:

Corrected issue where the metadata cache file did not include everything that the website included when it created the item cache file. Now the item cache files are identical.
Builder should now run correctly on Linux, as well as Windows.
Office document converstion to PDF switched to LibreOffice.
Some fixes around the Tesseract builder module
Builder now clears the item from the web site's cache after re-processing items.

In addition, corrected some issues with online item management, forcing the cache to be recreated again.

This patch requires the following upgrades:

Run small database upgrade script
Update the web application and builder installations
No solr changes required with this patch
You may want to invalidate the item level metadata or regenerated the cache.protobuf files for all the resources.
